Balestrate is a small seaside village with tourist vocation located in the Gulf of Castellammare, only 40 km way from Palermo and 25 km from airport. Characterized by a long beach of golden and fine sand, only for a stretch interrupted by the new tourist port, it is a summer residence destination both for the many holidaymakers of the province, and for the international tourists.
In addition to exploring the long and wide beaches of fine and golden sand and plunging into a crystalline sea with shallow waters, excellent for children and novice swimmers, you can enter the luxuriant grove just outside the town and adjacent to the Forgitella beach, or, for underwater fishing lovers, discover suggestive cliffs and rich ravines where to fish or practice sea-watching.
